At Little Island Pediatrics, our priority is to protect the health and safety of every child in our care.

We understand that there is a great deal of information — and misinformation — about vaccines. As a pediatrician, it is my responsibility to carefully evaluate the science and recommend what is safest and most effective for my patients.

Vaccines have been studied extensively for decades. They are safe, effective, and they save lives by preventing serious and sometimes life-threatening diseases.

In our practice, we follow the immunization schedule recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics. This schedule is thoughtfully designed to protect children at the ages when they are most vulnerable.

To maintain a safe environment for all families, we require patients to follow the AAP-recommended vaccine schedule.
